I had an idea how Mr Beam II would be able to laser objects higher than 38mm.
Why not make an modular system. One can unscrew the bottom plate already today to clean the grid. If one could mount another frame of Mr Beam onto another frame, the hight would be increased automatically. The different frames would perfectly fit another and one could take 2, 3, 4 or even more frames to pile them up.
Sounds very easy to me and would expand the material / objects list considerably.
What do you think about this?
It is precisely because the bottom can be unscrewed that it makes it quite easy to engrave/cut objects that don't fit in/under the standard measures. A plastic hockey ball was my first (of course one need to be careful and take the needed precautionary measures when doing so. The keys to our creations outside the box starts with an 'm' ... :-)
Ok. But if the bottom grid and plate can be unscrewed anyhow I don't see the issue with matching another frame to the system.
sorry for the spelling mistake... should be 'Height adjustment'
